WMFA hosts the Inagural State Games of Michigan and it is a HUGE sucess!
Samantha Nemecek wins the mixed foil event and Lucas Bradley, Josh Shoemaker and Dennis Joles take the Gold, Silver and Bronze in the mixed Sabre event and in the Youth 14 Foil event, Desree Ortega-Furgenson, takes the Silver and Amanda Williams and Victor Lynde round out the top four. Samantha Nemecek is Great Lakes Sectional Champion in Womens Foil!Desrree Ortega-Furgeson brought home the bronze in U19 womens foil and WMFA also qualified Haley Conover, Kayla Kelch, Amanda Williams in the DivI foil and Lucas Bradley qualified for Mens DivI Foil and Sabre!

College Bound!!! Josh Shoemaker is accepted to U of M! Haley Conover to Cornell University! and Andrea Kooiker gets a full ride scholorship to GVSU!
