Will Bonner goes GOLD in Saginaw this weekend and earns his C12!

Gold for the Womens Foil Team and Bronze for the Mens Foil Team at the Midwest High School Open!
Over 450 fencers at Culver Academy this weekend and the WMFA/Catholic Central Fencing Team had another very successful day! Desree Ortega Furgeson, Amanda Williams and Kayla Kelch Medal Gold, Bronze and 7th for the day and Victor Lynde medals Bronze in mens foil.

Desree Ortega-Furgeson goes GOLD in Chicago this weekend!
Over 300 high schoolers from all over the midwest converged in Chicago this weekend for another in a series of High School tournaments. WMFA and the Catholic Central Fencing Team brought a team in all 3 weapons. With almost 60 participants attending each event, Our medals were Gold and Bronze for women's foil (Desree and Amanda Williams) and a medal for Victor Lynde in mens foil. Way to go everyone! Next week, Midwest High School Open.
